The skyline below is the receipt from a show already played.This image began as a pen-and-ink flyer I drew at age 25 for a Texas regional rock band called The Drivers, were hard, loud, Buddy Holly fed through late-70s Texas blues machine. The car was their badge of courage. The butterfly was their navigator fluttering from place to place, from Wichita, it was smooth sailing south to Austin.That drawing lived in smoke-filled dives for a night.
